The Golden Boys mercenary unit formed when a militia basketball team from the Free Rasalhague Republic bought the command of a mercenary unit.[1]

History[edit]

While New Oslo’s militia basketball team was on Thun to win the Republic Cup, they received word that New Oslo had been invaded by Clan Wolf. They vowed to seek vengeance by assembling their own military command but did not do so until after the war.[1] The first contract brought them in contact with the Outworlds Alliance in 3056. The unit left service with the Alliance Military Corps after ten years and traveled to Herotitus for new contracts.[1][2]

Major Charice Kush was assassinated in October 3067 and in 3070 the unit signed a contract with Andurien.[2]

During a 3071 raid on Turin, they faced the Capellan Confederation Armed Forces's defending 212th Infantry Regiment (The Flying Furies) and an elite WoB raiding force. The command withdrew to avoid fighting the Blakists and retreated off world.[2]
