Grant Sumner was a local newspaper editor, on New Avalon, as of 2282.[1]

Sumner was the editor of the Avalon City Daily Dispatch, a newspaper in Avalon City on New Avalon, as of 2282. In this role he published an editorial, which was in favor of the Second Covenant of New Avalon, arguing its limitation of liberties was worth the chance to end the civil violence which New Avalon had suffered from.[1]
