Greg Bushroe was a notable MechWarrior in the Word of Blake's Third Division during the Jihad Era.[1]
History[edit]
Adept Bushroe fought during both the Battle of Tukayyid and Operation ODYSSEUS and believed his survival was due to the inherent luckiness of his BattleMech. Bushroe also survived the Word of Blake's Jihad against the rest of the Inner Sphere, although he was a conscientious objector during that conflict. His belief that the Word of Blake was wrong for starting the massive war spread to several members of his unit and— while none of the objectors outright defected from the WoB—Bushroe and several of his comrades used the Third Division's annihilation by Clan Ghost Bear on Dieron as a cover for them to escape into the Periphery.[1]
BattleMech[edit]
Adept Greg Bushroe piloted a Star League-vintage Ostscout BattleMech during his career, even going so far as to refuse a Project Phoenix variant in order to keep his original 'Mech.[1]
