Hans Davidson was a VTOL pilot in the Coventry Province Militia during the Clan Invasion and Federated Commonwealth Civil War.[1]
History[edit]
Davidson grew up on Australia and came from a long line of VTOL pilots with service in the Lyran military. Since Australia was a planet covered by deserts, forests, and jungles, helicopter travel was the primary method of transport and Davidson earned his pilot's license at the age of twelve. Davidson followed his family's tradition and enlisted in the Armed Forces of the Federated Commonwealth at the age of eighteen, where he promptly earned the right to fly military-grade vehicles for the Coventry CPM. When Clan Jade Falcon invaded Coventry in 3058, Davidson's squadron participated in a delaying action with Davidson personally downing two OmniMechs and a Point of Elementals. By the time Archon-Prince Victor Steiner-Davion arrived with a relief force, Davidson was one of only four surviving members of his unit.[1]
During the FedCom Civil War, now-Leutnant Davidson fought against both the First Coventry Jaegers and Kristen's Krushers. While Davidson's courage and talents enabled him to survive the fighting, his helicopter was badly damaged during the defense of Coventry Military Academy and he spent the next several months as a badly-wounded POW until Victor Davion once again relieved Coventry. After a lengthy period of recovery and rehabilitation, Davidson was promoted once more to Hauptmann and returned to his duties as a VTOL pilot.[1]
Combat Vehicle[edit]
Hauptmann Hans Davidson piloted a Warrior H-8 attack helicopter until it was shot down in the FedCom Civil War. Afterwards, Davidson piloted a Warrior H-9.[1]
