Description[edit]
Short-Range Missiles (SRM) pack more power into the missile than almost any other kind. They lack sophisticated guidance systems, so they must deliver their punch at short range. The SRM-2-launcher fires two such missiles at a time.
Like all standard short-range missile launchers, the SRM-2 is capable of firing special munitions, including Fragmentation Missiles and Inferno Missiles.[1]

Produced in the Draconis Combine by the company of the same name, Guided Technologies' SRM-2 launchers have a well known reputation for both prolonged reliability on the battlefield along with having among the lowest price for this class of missile launchers on the market, factors that makes it appealing to manufacturers such as Scarborough, Ltd.[3]

Its manufacture stretching from the Age of War[11] to at least the ilClan era,[12] the Magistracy of Canopus-manufactured Marklin Mini is noted as having a solid record in combat with the only complaints stemming from the nationalist bias of Draconis Combine MechWarriors over its manufacture outside the Inner Sphere.
Pattern Alpha[edit]
Its manufacture stretching from the Golden Century[17] to at least the Dark Age era,[18] the Pattern Alpha is a Clan-tech SRM-2 launcher used by multiple Clans in the Homeworlds and Inner Sphere.
