Henry Shayne was a Solaris Games gladiator-to-be. A man of small stature and an intense fan of the Games, he joined Carstairs Stables for the season starting in March 3053. Carstairs' wife's nephew, Shayne had no prior arena experience and limited technical knowledge.[1]
When Badicus O'Shea was given the first chance to pilot the Wolf Trap intended for Shayne in the Games, Shayne reacted with rage. He sabotaged the BattleMech's heat sinks, ensuring O'Shea's defeat, and fled. Carstairs tracked him down within a day. It is not known what happened afterwards.[1]

In 3053, as part of Carstairs Stables, Shayne was to pilot a Wolf Trap.[1]
