The Hollabrunn system is home to at least one inhabited world, and as of June 3152 is located in the Wolf Empire.[1]

Hollabrunn is located near the Eilenburg and Kitzingen systems.

System History[edit]

The Hollabrunn system was settled twice, first at some point before the mid-twenty-third century[2] and after disappearing from interstellar maps prior to 2341 it was re-settled by the Lyran Commonwealth during the Reunification War.[3][4]

Planetary History[edit]

The world of Hollabrunn was recolonized during the Star League era; originally having been colonized centuries earlier during the days of the Terran Alliance, the first colony was a casualty of the Age of War.[35]

Dark Age[edit]

When Clan Wolf turned upon the Lyran Commonwealth after Operation HAMMERFALL, Hollabrunn was the site of the first engagement fought by Anastasia Kerensky's Wolf Hunters against the invaders. In May 3141, the Seventh Battle Cluster invaded the world, Kerensky defeated them and temporarily blunted the central thrust of the Wolf invasion.[36]

Hollabrunn was later conquered by the Wolf Empire between 3142 and 3145. The Wolves were initially opposed by a demi-battalion of resistance fighters, but constant skirmishing eventually reduced this force to half a dozen effectives, among them a fatalistic Anzu pilot, Hauptmann Jessifer Niedermeyer.[37]

Hollabrunn was a terrestrial world. The area around Blauhimmel was prone to hot summers.[36]
