Horner was a wanted pirate by 3075 that was part of Breed's Brawlers.[1]

Breed's Brawlers raided Kolovraty in 3075 and had as target a cache of refined metals produced by Baxter Metals that was stored in a warehouse in Paxton city and defended by a short platoon of planetary militia tanks and an infantry company. Though the pirates could have beaten the forces in a stand-up fight, a modified Myrmidon lead by Tate and his crewmen Mostow and Horner moved in search of several hospitals on the city and destroying three of them. The militia tried to defend the remaining hospitals which allowed the rest of the pirates to sack the warehouse's contents and escaped, costing Baxter Metals billions of kroner. The LAAF has set a bounty on the Myrmidon crew of more than two million kroner, and ComStar has matched that in C-bills.[1]
