The Horsemen of the Apocalypse were a pirate band that hit the world of Cadiz in the Spring of 2996. The ten 'Mechs of the band were led by a woman that went by the name of "Black Maria." Mercenary Temperance MacCaulay was the sole defender of the mining area that the pirates targeted. Temperance used decoys and remote transmitters to fool the pirates into thinking there were more forces in the region and talked Maria into a duel for the mines. A lucky strike to Black Maria's cockpit killed her and her band started to fight among themselves as to who would be the new leader. McCaulay watched the chaos and downed the last two pirates herself ending the band and the pirate threat.[1]
