Hounds at Bay, subtitled Fortunes of War #4, is an original short story by Geoff Swift. The story is the fourth entry in the Fortunes of War digital short-story series announced by Catalyst Game Labs as unlockable stretch goals for the crowdfunding campaign for the BattleTech: Mercenaries boxset. Hounds at Bay was the $800,000 USD stretch goal and provided for free to Battalion backers and above and available for purchase for those in lower tiers, made available for download on 29 Jul 2024.
