Howard Hughes O'Grady is the President, Founder and CEO of the Tri-M Mercenary Academy.[1]
History[edit]
Hailing from a "backwater low-tech rock", in his youth Howard Hughes O'Grady dreamt of becoming a MechWarrior and earning considerable wealth. Unwilling and equally unable to join a Great House military, around 3024 O'Grady would smuggle himself aboard a freighter traveling to Outreach, ultimately stealing and cheating his way into a position in the famed Wolf's Dragoons.[1]
After a career that reportedly saw him become a "millionaire 30 times over", O'Grady retired from the Dragoons to open the Tri-M Mercenary Academy, providing would-be mercenaries the training to launch their own careers in return for a reasonable upfront fee (or percentage of their lifetime earnings) without the murder and skullduggery he had to engage in. O'Grady would insist that Tri-M placed 100% percent of the graduating 3043 class in mercenary units as further evidence of his academy's success.[1]
