Humanity Without Borders was, as of 3138, a humanitarian agency that specialized in medical and hunger relief.[1]
Overview[edit]
A recording of a purported spokesperson from Humanity Without Borders, which showed the destruction of an apparent BattleMech factory on Kwamashu in 3138 during an engagement between the Oriente Protectorate's Eagle's Talons and a Republic of the Sphere force impersonating a Duchy of Andurien unit, was distributed widely in the former Free Worlds League.
The spokesperson on the recording was explaining that Humanity Without Borders had come to the planet to help with civilian health concerns, and instead discovered a battle, when the disaster occurred.
However this recording, which blamed the Oriente Protectorate for the blast in one version and the Duchy of Andurien in another, was apparently manufactured by the Republic of the Sphere as part of a scheme (which included causing the disaster itself) to start a war between the two former Free Worlds League states.[1]
