If Auld Acquaintance Be Forgot..., subtitled "A Kell Hounds Story", is a series of novelettes (or a serialized novel) by Michael A. Stackpole that seamlessly continues the third story from Stackpole's earlier Kell Hounds Ascendant trilogy. The first installment, marked as part 1 of 4, was published in the inaugural issue of the Shrapnel magazine in 2020. Parts 2 & 3 continued in the following two editions, with the Part 4 conclusion being delayed until Issue 5
