Point Commander Igmar Ohlson was a battle armor trooper with the 1st Tyr Regiment, first in its incarnation as a Free Rasalhague Republic unit, and then as the 1st Tyr Assault Cluster as part of the Ghost Bear Dominion.[1]
History[edit]
Born on Tukayyid in 3051, and raised in the shattered post Clan Invasion Free Rasalhague Republic, Igmar grew up distrusting mercenaries and the Clans. Following the sack of his homeworld by the Word of Blake, his hatred extended to the Blakists and even ComStar, and he joined the KungsArmé in 3068 with hopes of driving them both from his nation. In the KungsArmé his physical strength and skill earned him a place as a battle armor trooper in the 1st Tyr.
Following the Ghost Bear's liberation of Tukayyid and their alliance with Rasalhague, Igmar's loyalty to his native realm outweighed his dislike of Clanners, and he accepted an assignment to the new 1st Tyr Assault Cluster sans his last name. In 3074 he was one of the 1st Tyr troopers called on to help purge a Blakist terror cell on Radstadt, which ended up being the 43rd Shadow Division.
The 1st Tyr suffered terrible casualties during this engagement, and while Igmar was one of the few survivors, his battle armor suit was destroyed. His heroic actions covering the fighting withdrawal of his comrades however earnt him a Trial of Position for the rank of Point Commander, and a new battle armor suit fresh from the factory.[1]
Battle Armor[edit]
Ohlson was known to have initially piloted a suit of Kobold light battle armor, which was later replaced with a suit of Rogue Bear heavy battle armor.[1]
