History[edit]
The unit was founded by Hollis Ibsen an AFFS veteran and popular columnist for the Bueller Star-Times. The company only takes occasional jobs rather than operate as a standing unit. Their typical contracts range from bodyguarding nobles to garrison industrial plants against pirate raids and even transporting medical supplies to needy communities in the Chaos March. Hollis Ibsen has used this missions to feed his journal columns and he has even published several books based on the unit's exploits.
The unit is very close-knit. The unit has ensured that every single Irregular casualty receives a full obituary in Ibsen's column and the unit traditionally holds a raucous wake for their fallen comrades after every mission. Profits from the unit's contracts are split evenly among all the members, after a twenty-five percent cut is put into their collective retirement and investment fund. Surviving family members of deceased Irregulars receive a stipend out of this fund for the remainder of their lives.[1]
