Rogue Com Guard

(Redirected from Into the Deep Dark)

Rogue Com Guard was a saga of books written by Tecumseh Jarrow.[1]

Since 3053 the series has seen six installments added to the original one.[1]

Author[edit]

Though there is a single author for all books, experts claim that differing styles over the years point to Jarrow being the cover identity for a rotating group of writers.[1]

Style[edit]

Experts agree that the books barely qualify as readable and represent the worst excesses of pulp literature. They point that the plots are pretty much interchangeable, with the characters are often one-dimensional caricatures. The action scenes are clichéd and repetitive. And nevertheless, the series remains as inexplicably popular as ever.[1]

Overview[edit]

The series goes over the live of a nameless hero was once a MechWarrior in the ranks of the Com Guards that ending being the last survivor of his unit during the Battle of Tukayyid. Since then, he traveled the Inner Sphere, searching for a peaceful place to call home but always encountering those who have need of his services.[1]

Escape from Epsilon Eridani[edit]

Published in 3067, the book sees Faust killed by an unknown assassin within ComStar but not before he recognizes the protagonist's innocence and receives forgiveness for his dogged pursuit over the years.[1]
