The Diedre's Den system is the location of at least one inhabited world or construct and, as of 3151, was an independent system located in the Periphery, close to the border between the Free Worlds League and Lyran Commonwealth.[1]

System Description[edit]

Diedre's Den is located near the Clayborne and Andiron systems,[1] approximately 422 light-years anti-spinward of Terra.

System History[edit]

The Diedre's Den system was either settled at some point during the Star League era at the end of the Reunification War, or was an already-inhabited system that became significant enough during this period for Inner Sphere nations to begin recording it on maps.[2][3][4] Until the Third Succession War, the system was known by the name Iolas, and was a member of the Rim Worlds Republic prior to the Republic's collapse as an interstellar polity.[3][4]

By 3025, Diedre's Den was part of the bandit kingdom known as the Circinus Federation.[5][6][7]
