Ivan Tchorgin was the commanding officer of the Second Battalion ("Ivan's Marauders") of the Longwood's Bluecoats mercenary group as of 3050.[1]

Major Tchorgin, serving with Longwood's Bluecoats, was stationed on Jamestown on behalf of the Taurian Concordat in 3050.[1] Following the Clan Invasion, Tchorgin retained his command of the Bluecoats' Second Battalion and was still working for the Concordat on Euschelus from 3054 to 3058.[2][3] In 3059, he still led Ivan's Marauders but was struggling to deal with the commander of his Third Company, Captain Augustus Foley. Despite the problems he had with Foley's battlefield maneuvers and leadership behavior, the men in the Marauders' Third Company regularly performed better than the rest of the Bluecoats.[4]
