System Description[edit]
The J-1256T system, codenamed Damocles by AFFS forces on the eve of the Fourth Succession War, is an uninhabited star system located within jump distance (~30 light-years) of both Nopah and Aldebaran. On typical twodimensional jump maps, this would place the J-1256T system between Acamar and Arboris.[1]
'Damocles' was used as a transit system for a Federated Suns strike force bound for Alebaran in the first wave of the Fourth Succession War. They expected a 175-hour recharging cycle for their JumpShips' Kearny-Fuchida drives.[1] Given that the system lies in what was then Capellan Confederation space, it seems unlikely that a recharge station would have been present, hence the 175 hours can be assumed to be the recharge time via jump sail from the system's star.
It is notably close to the Bex system, though no hints to a connection are apparent, since Bex had fallen off the maps by that point.
