Leftenant Jack Wexler was a MechWarrior, who served in the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns and Capellan Confederation Armed Forces, during the late twenty-eighth century.[1]

Federated Suns[edit]
As of 2765 the then Leftenant Ikeda was the commander of H Lance, of Eighth Company ("the Crazy Eights"), with the Twentieth Avalon Hussars' Charlie Battalion.[2] During this assignment, he became romantically involved with his fellow Crazy Eights Lance Commander Henry Ikeda, with whom he considered himself engaged. However in 2766 Wexler defected to the Capellan Confederation, a betrayal Ikeda considered personal, and he blamed himself for failing to spot his former lovers' disloyalty. Wexler reunited with his old Federated Suns unit in 2767 as a Subcommander at the head of a Capellan raid, during which Ikeda was badly injured and H Lance was destroyed.[1]
Capellan Confederation[edit]
Once Ikeda recovered from his injuries, he took a leave of absence from the AFFS, and used his life savings to track down and kill his former lover. Finding Wexler after 3 years of searching, hiding in the Periphery as a pirate after being abandoned by his Capellan allies, Ikeda killed the beaten and harried Wexler in 2770 during a gunfight.[1]
