James Franzaglio was a Tharkad astronomer in 3067.[1]

He and his astronomy club detected the cluster of objects nearing Tharkad, and when the Alliance Naval Command did detect some manmade objects in space that where not "aligned" with the delegations present on Tharkad, but they were not very worried on this as commented by Admiral Casey Martine, the astronomers didn't feel very reassured. Unfortunately they were proven right when the Word of Blake forces bombarded Tharkad.[1]
