James Vaughn was the commanding officer of the St. Ives Military Command as of 3029.[1]
History[edit]
Senior Colonel Vaughn was a veteran of the St. Ives Armored Cavalry before he became the head of the newly-formed St. Ives Compact's military forces in 3029. Simultaneous to his efforts to build the functionality of the St. Ives Military Command with the aide of the Federated Suns, Vaughn personally fought against pro-Capellan Confederation dissidents from the cockpit of his BattleMech. Despite being kept busy with constant raids by Confederation forces, Vaughn held an optimistic attitude until his retirement in 3054. By the time his replacement Caroline Seng took command of the SIMC, Vaughn had turned the organization into a modernized, well-equipped military force.[1]
