Jason Bouchard was a MechWarrior in the First Bolan Jaegers during the Federated Commonwealth Civil War and Jihad.[1]
History[edit]
Leutnant Bouchard earned a commendation for valor from Margrave Richard Steiner for his actions during the fighting for Cavanaugh II. In the course of the battle, Bouchard accounted for five enemy BattleMech kills, including the downing of a Forty-second Avalon Hussars Cataphract. However, Margrave Steiner's subsequent execution of commander Megan O'Heron for recommending a ceasefire with the Jaegers' foes caused Bouchard to join those troops who chose to defect from the Loyalist's cause.[1]
After the close of the FedCom Civil War, Bouchard was allowed to return to his position in the First Jaegers but remained under suspicion for his temporary abandonment of the Lyran Alliance Armed Forces. When the Bolan and Skye Provinces launched a war against the Free Worlds League during the early Jihad, Bouchard regained the trust of his commanding officers by covering the fighting withdrawal from Colfax when the League counterattacked.[1]
