Jason Sanderson was a Solaris fighter who tired of the arena life and wanted to do some "real fighting".
He left solaris to find work as a Mercenary and was the last MechWarrior hired by the Filtry Lucre before departing the Federated Commonwealth in 3050. He got the command of the Third Company of Weregilt Battalion and was struggling to acclimate himself to cooperative combat. Sanderson has been known to revert to arena form and challenge enemy MechWarriors to individual combat. None have yet refused him and none have defeated him either.[1]

He piloted a TDR-7M Thunderbolt both on Solaris and with the Filthy Lucre.[1]
