Javier Sanchez was the commanding officer of the Second Battalion of the Sixth Syrtis Fusiliers during the late Succession Wars Era and Clan Invasion Era.[1]
History[edit]
Kommandant Sanchez was one of the few Sixth Syrtis Fusiliers officers to remain after the unit's ranks were purged following the Fourth Succession War. Although he was a native of New Syrtis, Sanchez had graduated from the Albion Military Academy instead of the Warrior's Hall and thusly lacked the loyalty to Duke Michael Hasek-Davion that cost the Sixth Fusiliers' other officers their careers.[1]
BattleMech[edit]
Kommandant Javier Sanchez piloted a MAD-3D model Marauder BattleMech during the late Succession Wars. During the Clan Invasion, his machine was heavily modified with salvaged technology and became much more effective against distant foes. Exchanging the standard PPCs for extended range models, dropping the medium lasers and a swap to a 300-rated XL engine allows the large laser to be replaced by a Gauss Rifle in the now CASE protected right torso with two tons of reloads. A swap to double heat sinks allow a boosted rate of fire.[1][2]
