John "Rattlesnake" Culpepper was a notable MechWarrior operating in the Periphery during the Jihad Era.[1]
History[edit]
"Rattlesnake" Culpepper was a gun-for-hire whose presence had become familiar on the worlds of Astrokaszy, Detroit, and the Fronc Reaches. He would sell his services as a MechWarrior for protective purposes only and would even work for no pay if it meant protecting innocent lives. Rumors held that he was formerly an officer of the Armed Forces of the Federated Commonwealth who left with his BattleMech after growing tired of politics, with the scraps of an AFFC general officer's uniform he wore lending support to those theories. However, if Culpepper was an officer with as a high a rank as his outfit indicated, he had since changed his identity after leaving the AFFC.[1]
