Jon "Boss Man" Kovaleski was a member of the Gale Force 9 mercenary unit during the Dark Age Era.[1]
History[edit]
Kovaleski led Gale Force 9's Tempest Assault Lance, fighting in border skirmishes in the former Prefecture II and Prefecture III of the Republic of the Sphere, following the creation of Fortress Republic. Employed mostly by worlds still clinging to the ideals of the Republic, he assumed a leadership role on the battlefield, usually being able to extract that extra 10% from those under his command.[1]

Jon Kovaleski was known to have piloted an Atlas BattleMech, nicknamed Black Bart.[1]

Jon Kovaleski was the canonized version of Jon Kovaleski, CEO of game company Gale Force Nine, LLC's, who developed the Battlefield in a Box range of prepainted terrain sets for the MechWarrior: Dark Age Collectable Miniatures Game.
