Josef Dukes was the Chief Prosecutor of the Solaris General Court in 3074.[1]

He became famous as the prosecutor of the trials against WoB supporters He was supported by Count Kevin Haider. One of the most famous trials was against popular reporter Kiva Cooper. The trial ended with the revelation that she had been using SBC news to inform the galaxy of next attacks by the Word of Blake forces. The primary evidence of her defense was presented at the trial was her October, 27th, 3068 broadcast on behest of a Blakist run SBC where the first letter of every sentence from the broadcast formed the phrase "T…S…O…O…N…A…L…L…A…R…I…O…N…T…N", "Soon Allarion", that Blakist stroke six months later.
Josef Dukes was in the best path to become planetary governor, but after this event, opinion on the street was that he would be lucky just to keep his job.[1]
