By 3025 Earwig was the CEO of Melcher Food Corporation. This was achieved via a hostile takeover of the firm by Baroness Earwig, shortly before 3025, which was so contentious it required assistance from the Melcher planetary militia to expel the former owners from the corporate headquarters.[1]
