Joshua Steiner-Davion was born artificially as part of a ComStar and Capellan Confederation plot to destabilize the Federated Suns and the Lyran Commonwealth. Joshua almost certainly does not know what his real heritage is, nor the circumstances of his birth. Aside from the conspirators and Joshua's bodyguards only Hanse and Ardan Sortek are aware of Joshua's existence. Joshua was secreted away with his bodyguards the Catholic Priest Michael Conley, and former Rome Police Detectives Emma Fisco and Nick Rossi to live "somewhere in the Inner Sphere."[1]
