Commodore Josiah McCarthy was a DropShip officer and member of the Waco Rangers from at least 3007 to 3025.[1]
History[edit]
McCarthy was a founding member of the Waco Rangers, with his son Leonard McCarthy being born on the Rangers' DropShip Burden of Fate less than a month after the unit's formation in 3007.
By 3025, he was commander of the Rangers' DropShip Group and had offered his now grown son a DropShip officer's commission. Leonard refused the offer, however, choosing MechWarrior training and earning his spot when the time came to graduate.[1]
