Planetary History[edit]

When Kabah was first settled, there was a terrible hemorrhagic fever that scythed through the colony. The population slowly developed a resistance to it over the centuries.[29]

Clan Invasion[edit]

Kabah was conquered by Clan Smoke Jaguar in June 3050 at the start of the Third Wave of Operation REVIVAL. Alpha and Bravo Stars of the Second Trinary Assault, 214th Jaguar Dragoons, engaged the Kabah Guards, consisting of two 'Mech companies, on the jousting fields of the Kabah Palace. After the hour-long battle was over only three of the Kabah Guards survived to become bondsmen of the Smoke Jaguars.[30]

Post-Tukayyid[edit]

The Fifteentth Garrison Cluster of Clan Nova Cat raided the Kabah supply depot of the 214th Jaguar Dragoons in August 3057. Obstensibly, this was in retribution for a refusal of the Smoke Jaguar unit to honor the batchall offered by the 15th's commander on Chupadero during Operation REVIVAL. The Nova Cat's lost honor was to be regained in the punitive attack on Kabah,[31] though other sources name the Shiva Keshik as the unit that took the planet.[32]

Operation BULLDOG[edit]

Kabah was invaded in the fourth wave of Operation BULLDOG by the Twenty-Second Dieron Regulars, the Com Guard Thirty-fourth Division, and the Star League Defense Force's Nova Cat Lancers. The defending Seventh Garrison Cluster was badly outnumbered and held out for relief until they were convinced that no rescue was coming; soon after, the Smoke Jaguar forces staged Trials of Possession and were captured.[33][34]
