Star Captain Kami Sword was a founding member of Clan Goliath Scorpion and the Sword Bloodname.[1]

Personal Appearance[edit]

Sword was noted to have white skin.[2]

History[edit]

Sword participated in Operation Klondike, ilKhan Nicholas Kerensky's campaign to reconquer the Pentagon Worlds.[1]

On 29 July 2821, this included participating in landings on Dagda seeking to defeat the McMillan Collective. Delivered to Firebase Delta, a Space Defense System, with her Star via a Torrent heavy bomber called Starlighter, Sword's landing was initially successful. The communications center in the firebase, the Clan's initial target, was seized within 30 minutes.[3]

Before the entire facility was captured, Sword witnessed the loss of nine Bloodnamed Scorpion warriors, members of her Binary, to a booby trap, which resulted in their falling into a lava field. This experience as the only survivor of her Binary resulted in Sword suffering from the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder, including flashbacks and uncontrollable shakes.[4][2]

Despite these difficulties, in August 2821, Sword's unit was one the Scorpion formations pursuing the remnants of the McMillan Collective under the command of Collector James McMillan after the fall of their stronghold Firebase Delta, defeating one unit she located with the help of auxiliaries under her command.[2]

Philosophical and/or political views[edit]

Sword initially held dismissive views towards the conventional auxiliary forces used by the Goliath Scorpions on Dagda, on the basis they couldn't not be accounted as skilled as the eight hundred selected by the ilKhan as full Clan warriors. After seeing their valor fighting against the Collective however, she recommended to saKhan Jenna Scott that a number be promoted to make good losses to the touman.[2]

BattleMech[edit]

Sword was known to pilot a PXH-1b Phoenix Hawk Special BattleMech,[2] as well as a Starslayer BattleMech.[3]
