Kaoru Akechi was the commanding officer of the Seventh Regulan Hussars as of 3069.[2]
History[edit]
Colonel Akechi, serving with the Seventh Regulan Hussars, was stationed on Harmony in 3085.[1] Formerly a MechWarrior in service to the Draconis Combine, Akechi deserted his post in 3068 after killing his commanding officer for executing a Federated Suns soldier he had promised to treat fairly. Akechi was hired to lead Ronin Incorporated's BattleMech Security Company and, when Captain-General Titus Cameron-Jones drafted the unit as the Seventh Regulan Hussars in 3069, continued to lead the unit in service to Regulus.[2]

Colonel Kaoru Akechi piloted a Ninja-To BattleMech, which he operated independently from the rest of the Seventh Regulan Hussars.[2]
