Major General Kapena Artz was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 111th Jump Infantry Division from at least 2760 to 2764.[1]

Taking command of the 111th Jump Infantry Division in 2760, General Artz was charged with refocusing it on providing lightning-strike capabilities, after it trended to using heavier slower equipment in the previous decades. Artz sought to achieve this by changes such as increasing the number of Land-Air 'Mech's available to the Division.[1]
