Kern Peleshenko was a brigade commander in the Star League Defense Force during the Reunification War.

At the beginning of Operation UNION HOLD, the Star League invasion of the Outworlds Alliance in 2581, Kern Peleshenko was a lieutenant general in the SLDF and commanding officer of the Fourteenth Brigade, one of three brigades that formed the Fifth Division within II Corps.[1]
In contrast to the invasion of other worlds by SLDF units later in the campaign, Peleshenko announced the arrival of his brigade in-system, provided details of his landing zones and even provided an order of battle to the opposing militia forces, thereby ensuring that civilian casualties and property damage was minimal.[1]
