Description[edit]
The "King David" Light Gauss Rifle is a version of the self-same infantry support weapon, developed by the Free Worlds League, which has been adapted for use on battle armor. The original "King David" was a two-man support weapon designed to give infantry not only an effective weapon for combating battlesuits but the capability of laying down suppressive fire, though gauss rifles like the "King David" have since become a favorite weapon for battlesuited troopers to wield themselves. The variant used for mounting on suits includes extra fittings and cooling jackets, increasing the weapon's size and bulk while making it more effective.[3][4]
