Tai-i Kiro Shinada was a Draconis Combine MechWarrior during Operation BULLDOG and the First Combine-Dominion War.[1]

Operation BULLDOG[edit]
Kiro Shinada fought and survived Operation BULLDOG. Details of his exploits during this conflict are unknown at this time.[1]
First Combine-Dominion War[edit]
When the Second Bear Regulars attacked the world of Kiamba in 3062, Kiro Shinada and the remnants of his company were cut off from the rest of the 4th Pesht Regulars when they were forced to retreat off world. Using civilian contacts he made while on world, Kiro was able to put his forces into hiding in some Star League-era tunnels near the city of New Buzen City. There they waited for an opportunity to strike against the Clan invaders.[1]
Star Colonel Katrina Homaovi, the commander of the Second Bear Regulars, would attempt to lure out any remaining resistance forces on Kiamba via an inspection tour. While Kiro recognized that the inspection tour was a trap, he decided to attack in an attempt to kill the Star Colonel and restore honor to his defeated unit. In the end, Kiro's unit was destroyed during the battle and Katrina survived. She attempted to take Kiro as a bondsman, but Kiro commited seppuku rather than submit.[1]
