Kyle was a notable officer in Clan Wolf's Clan Watch during the Dark Age Era.[1]

Star Commander Kyle commanded a raid against the Clan Protectorate world of Asellus Australis in order to gauge the strength of the planet's Nova Cat defenders. The Wolf batchall was answered by a Binary of Cats and the fight quickly proved to be lopsided in the Wolves' favor until the leader of the Protectorate forces called for a halt to the fighting. Called to a one-on-one duel to decide the outcome of the battle, Kyle absorbed a significant amount of his opponent's ammunition until his own munitions punched through the enemy Shadow Cat's fusion reactor, causing it to detonate.[2]
The raid on Asellus Australis was determined to be a success on all counts for the Wolf Watch, as Kyle was able to receive plenty of surveillance information during the fighting. As the Wolf Empire continued to expand, Kyle and the Wolf Watch's target list similarly grew in size and scope. His service to the Khan took him to many battlefields, both overt and subtle, and Kyle's wide array of skills made him a valuable asset for the achievement of the Wolves' goals.[1]
