Planetary History[edit]
Clan Invasion[edit]
Labrea was conquered by Clan Smoke Jaguar during the Fifth Wave of Operation REVIVAL in November 3051. It was defended by the Third Royal Labrean Defense Regiment, which confronted Trinary Assault of the Fifth Jaguar Regulars at Colodney. When the battle began the Smoke Jaguars were caught off-guard by the appearance of the Labreans' aerospace fighters, something which their commander had failed to mention during the batchall. Though they were initially able to pin down the attacking Clan forces, the Smoke Jaguar response to this dishonorable falsehood was to destroy the grounded air units during a nighttime raid. Within a week the rest of the armored battalions were hunted down and destroyed.[29]
Operation BULLDOG[edit]
Labrea was invaded in the second wave of Operation BULLDOG by the First Wolf Strike Grenadiers, Fourth Wolf Guards Assault Cluster, and the First Wolf Legion Cluster. The defending Sixth Jaguar Dragoons Cluster were defeated and joined the ranks of Clan Wolf-in-Exile.[30]
Dark Age[edit]
An Elemental Trinary from the 489th Assault Cluster under the command of Star Captain Daniel Devalis fended off a raid on Labrea in October 3085 without requiring any assistance; the Trinary's Thunderbird battle armor played havoc with the enemy armor and completely outclassed their Inner Sphere battle armor. The damage inflicted by the Thunderbirds operating in tandem with Rabids left the attacking 'Mech force so short of support it had to withdraw. This battle was effectively the first hostile field test for the new Thunderbird battle armor.[31]
