System Description[edit]

The Laconis system is located near the Brisbane and MacLeod's Land systems.[1]

System History[edit]

The Laconis system was colonized at some point during the reign of the Star League.[2]

In 2759, the capital city of Laconis was heavily damaged due to a hurricane. The 35th Infantry Division of the SLDF earned a lot of good will by assisting with the reconstruction efforts.[51]

By 2764, Laconis was considered a "boom planet" with strong economic growth rates and hundreds of new colonists arriving daily. The resident SLDF garrison stationed themselves at the planet's largest blue water port. This port was the center of oil refining and fleets of aquaculture ships for the growing planet.[52]
