Lawence Haveney was a member of the Ducal Guard on Novo Tressida during the thirty-first century.

When a pirate band known as the Crimson Sabres attempted to assassinate Duke Cornel Garson on 6 July 3066, Lawence Haveney was a Lance Corporal in command of a platoon of Foot MG infantry within the second company of the Ducal Guard, who were serving as escorts to the Duke at the time.[1]
The Ducal Guard and elements of the Pike's Pikemen mercenary unit were able to defeat the Sabres and capture the pirate Hanson Toliver, who revealed to captors that the Sabres' employer was Baron Keith Garson, who was responsible for the death of the Duke's predecessor, Duke Tremain Garson, and cousin to Carson - as well as second in line to Duke Tremain's title.[1]
The Ducal Guard infantry forces took fifty percent casualties during the battle[1] and it is unknown if Lawence Haveney survived.
