Leroux was the commanding officer of the Transcendent Naval Star of Clan Nova Cat's military forces as of 3067.[1]
History[edit]
In May 3067, Star Admiral Leroux led the Transcendent Naval Star into Clan Ghost Bear's Alshain system in order to issue a Trial of Possession for the unfinished Leviathan-class WarShip CGB Rasalhague. When the Bears' naval commander refused to adhere to the terms of the Trial and instead launched an all-out attack against Leroux's vessels, the Nova Cat commander delivered an impassioned speech to the other Ghost Bear forces in the region that convinced them to avoid reinforcing the officer responsible for ignoring Leroux's batchall. Although the Nova Cat forces were successful in defeating the aggressing Ghost Bear naval officer and—with assistance from the Vision Naval Star—ultimately destroyed over half of the Bears' entire fleet, they suffered heavy casualties and were unable to lay claim to the Rasalhague before having to depart from the system. Despite this, the Nova Cats considered the fight to have been a satisfactory means of gaining honor and revenge in the wake of their abjuration and the First Combine-Dominion War.[1]

- It is stated in the scenario Trial of Retribution that it is Star Admiral Rand that makes the first batchall of the engagement which would make him the commander of the Transcendent Naval Star. However it is stated later that Star Admiral Leroux in the scenario and Field Manual: Updates is the real commander of the Transcendent Naval Star. In addition neither officer has a first name.[2]
