Ling Sayamoto was the aide to the commanding officer of the Otomo as of 3059.[1]

Chu-sa Sayamoto, serving as executive officer to Sho-sho Oda Hideyoshi, was stationed on Luthien in 3059. A firm believer in Coordinator Theodore Kurita's military reforms, Sayamoto's appointment to the position of executive officer was seen as proof of Hideyoshi's loyalty to the Coordinator.[1]
