Succession Wars[edit]

They fought for the DCMS prior to Coordinator Takashi's Death to Mercenaries decree.[3]

By 2786 the Longhorns was stationed on Halesowen.[1]

During the invasion of Imbrial III the Longhorns decided to defect to the Federated Suns, bringing valuable intelligence on the DCMS presence in the Imbrial system with them. First Prince John Davion's second plan - a massive naval response under the operational command of Admiral Kenneth Jones - saw a large naval task force target Imbrial III as their first target, striking in early 2790, attempting to catch the Draconis Combine Admiralty ships in the system before they had recovered from the initial battle to capture the planet. Although the task force only stayed in the system for a week before moving on to the next target, the strike was successful, destroying four attack DropShips, two transport JumpShips and a pair of Congress-class frigates, the DCS Halland and DCS Stockholm.[4]

The unit was destroyed during the First Succession War.[1]
