Loren Bryce-Marik was a Free Worlds League officer.
History[edit]
Commanding general of the Protectorate Guard, Loren Bryce-Marik served in this role between at least 3050[1] and 3067[2]. House Bryce-Marik, a family with a long history of service to the Free Worlds League, had previously commanded the Marik Guards before the regiment's destruction during the Fourth Succession War. Following the war, Loren—and in extention, his House—were given command of the Protectorate Guard. This act would pit the new general against Marilyn Stroud of House Stroud, eventually culminating in the latter's defection to the Word of Blake during the Jihad.
