The Louisville Belle was a JumpShip which was lost during the First Succession War while transporting thousands of tons of platinum ingots that been looted from the Star League Mint located on the world of Preston. The wreck of the Louisville Belle was discovered in October 3001 by a company named the Star Group, who found her drifting in an unnamed system in the Free Worlds League near Andurien. The find was noteworthy enough that more than a century later, Interstellar Expeditions - the successor to the Star Group - were still including the discovery in their advertising literature as one of the most important or significant discoveries made in the history of the company.[1]
