Colonel Mable Payne was the commander of the Second Magistracy Highlanders from at least 3145 to 3149.[1][2]
History[edit]
Payne, with the Second Magistracy Highlanders, was based on New Abilene and Borgan's Rift as of 3145.[1] In 3149 when Payne was on New Abilene, a Clan Snow Raven force arrived, and offered a Trial for Payne to claim a new Blood Asp in return for providing the Ravens with an opportunity to blood some new MechWarriors.
Warily accepting, the Company Payne bid for the Trial was quickly decimated by three Raven Blood Asps, though the Ravens were impressed by Payne's adherence to zellbrigen. In part of what Payne called "one hell of a sales pitch", the Ravens however still gifted the three lightly damaged OmniMechs to the Magistracy.[2]
