Star Colonel Magnus Icaza (died 3134[1]) was a Clan Jade Falcon Elemental during the later Dark Age era. He was an ally and friend of Aleksandr Hazen, and he participated in the early desant against the Republic of the Sphere.
Description[edit]
Massive even for an Elemental, unbelievably strong, Magnus was nonetheless friendly and genial. Oddly for a Falcon, he laughed constantly and openly among his fellow warriors. He was well known for his fiery red beard.
History[edit]
Magnus won the Icaza Bloodname on planet Winfield in the Jade Falcon Occupation Zone.[2]
The Elemental became good friends with Galaxy Commander Aleksandr Hazen, perhaps because of their similar personalities. He stood as Aleks' second during a Trial of Honor.[3]
Icaza led a Star of Elementals during the invasion of Porrima. He managed to defeat a 95-ton Marksman M1 tank on his own. Afterward, while enjoying victory with Aleksandr, he shoved his commander out of the way of an SRM fired by a sniper. Aleks was lightly wounded but the blast killed Magnus. In response, Aleks leveled the surrounding district.
Battle Armor[edit]
Magnus was so large that he could not comfortably fit in the latest Fire Elemental Battle Armor. He instead used the original Elemental Battle Armor, though it restricted his head movement.
