Lieutenant Marcus Aeolus Wernke was a member of the Waco Rangers from at least 3025 to 3032.[1][2]

In 3025, Marcus Wernke was a member of the Waco Rangers' Noble's Command Lance, Noble's Headquarters Company of the First Battalion (Noble's Assault Battalion).[1]
In September 3032, while still a member of Noble's Command Lance, Wernke participated in the fighting between the Waco Rangers and Snord's Irregulars on Nockatunga. Wernke was part of a group of Rangers 'Mechs, including Colonel Wayne Waco, which were trapped by the Irregulars in the hills twelve kilometers from the city of Thule. The Rangers were defeated by the Irregulars in the ensuing battle, with Cranston Snord disabling Colonel Waco's 'Mech, though choosing to spare his life.[2]
